Celebrating the music and dance of nature, Jesse’s Sensory Garden™  at the Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness in Bolton, is designed to be fully accessible to ALL community members (all ages, abled and disabled) and to "stimulate the 5 senses".

The Caledon Centre for Recreation & Wellness campus in Bolton, Ontario is undergoing an expansion of approximately 20,000 square feet.

  • We are excited to share with you that this new wing was designed to showcase Jesse's Sensory Garden™ via strategically placed windows and a direct entrance.
  • Last summer before construction began, staff and volunteers meticulously catalogued and dismantled the garden to protect its integrity.
  • Soon, we will all be working alongside one another to reassemble, in order that the garden may re-open early this summer.

Drop by when you are in the neighbourhood and experience:

  • a barrier-free sensory wonderland,
  • a unique educational resource, and
  • a rare opportunity for our physically impaired, and special needs neighbours (children, adults and seniors) to stay fit while volunteering within our community.
Featuring the therapeutic beauty, scent, sounds, tastes and touch of nature Jesse’s Sensory Garden™ will one day also integrate a platform for outdoor music and dance therapy sessions. For more information, here are links to popular sensory garden sites.
