Mandates
Jesse’s Foundation for Music and Dance Therapy mandates include, but are not limited to:
- provide funding to children’s hospitals or wards, rehabilitation centres, youth centres and schools to establish music and dance therapy programs.
- provide funding for music and dance therapy programs for children on palliative care or restricted to their homes.
- provide funding for operational costs to maintain, as well as expand music and dance therapy programs.
- provide financial aid to families (with sick children) who wish to enroll a family member under the age of 21 years into extra curricular music and dance classes, camps and therapies.
- grant scholarships to children who wish to pursue music or dance at a post-secondary level.
- provide funding for sensory gardens that incorporate music into their design.
- promote music and dance therapy.
